Jacobien Hogendoorn

I enjoyed studying Dentistry at the University of Groningen. After many withdrawals and completing another study, I still got the opportunity to fulfil my dream of being a dentist through a lateral entry programme. Since September 2020, besides carrying out the master's thesis, I have been working in several dental practices as a Dental Assistant. In doing so, I fulfilled the work of a dentist, but under the responsibility of a dental supervisor (the extended-arm construction). I received my bull in 2022 and have since then been able to officially and proudly call myself a dentist.

I fulfil my dentistry with enthusiasm and passion. I strive to provide the best care for you, while also looking at the person behind the teeth. Together with you, I like to make an appropriate treatment plan.

Putting you at ease and giving you confidence is important to me. Hence perhaps my affinity with treating children, elderly and anxious patients. Patient contact combined with being hands-on makes my job a lot of fun.
