In the Van Riebeeckkwartier is the Gooiers Erf care home. People with dementia live here. Like you, they need exercise, fresh air, and contact with others. Being outside for a while brings them peace, joy, and simply a lovely day!

Residents could go outside into Gooiers Erf's protected inner garden, but not into the neighbourhood via the front door. This is going to change step by step, meaning you might encounter someone with dementia when you visit our practice. On the image above, you will find tips on how to deal with this.

If you would like to know more, you are very welcome at Gooiers Erf (Van Riebeeckweg 50). Drop-in sessions and a film night are being organised:

Open House: Thursday, 7 May, 4.00 PM - 6.00 PM
Open House: Monday 18 May, 7.00 PM - 8.30 PM
Open house and film night: Tuesday 12 May from 7:00 PM. The film Human Forever by Teun Toebes starts at 8:00 PM. If you would like to register for the film night, please email location manager Sandra Stormbroek at s.stormbroek@inovum.nl and indicate how many people will be attending the film.
