Beware of fake emails on behalf of Infomedics
You regularly receive e-mails or letters from various organisations. Unfortunately, criminals are increasingly abusing the name of these organisations by sending out fake messages that look like genuine communications. We would like to draw your attention to fake e-mails sent in the name of Infomedics. Infomedics sends the bill for your treatment on our behalf.
Worldwide, large collections of e-mail addresses are available that were once captured in data breaches from other organisations, such as web shops, apps and online services. Criminals use these lists for large-scale phishing campaigns.
As Infomedics is a well-known and trusted party within medical billing, its name is used to increase the chances of success.
We would like to help you handle digital messages safely. Below you can read what to look out for and how to recognise genuine communication from Infomedics.
